LMH is under new Tanzanian management. Instead of German Deacon, Nursing Officer Jeremiah Dira is now superintendent of the hospital.

The outpatient department under construction is to be completed.

The hospital has held adult education courses, where more than 100 people took part. These kinds of courses are helping in the development of Christian social services and activities in the district. These courses will be continues in future.
